In 2013 the department of regenerative plastic surgery was founded at “AvangardMed” medical centre with the support of significant professionals from Pittsburg University and Centre of cellular technologies, Spain. Owing to newest technical equipment this department offered an opportunity to implement non-invasion regenerative and aesthetic surgeries using cells produced from individual’s own fat. This method prevents incision and consequent scars.
It is used particularly for:

  • hand and face rejuvenation,
  • breast augmentation,
  • smoothing of posttraumatic and post-burn scars,

Regenerative medicine background
Regenerative medicine was first founded in 2000 when Zuk discovered cells with regenerative abilities in fat during liposuction procedure. Those were mesenchymal stem cells that can be found in all the tissues of human body. Number of those cells in fat is much more than in marrow, which is considered to be a reservoir for stem cells. Before this fat was considered just a source of energy, endocrine organ; and now it’s regenerative features are also well known.
Regenerative medicine is the process of recovering tissues undergone traumatic or disease damage, using the method of activating stem cells or inoculating cells.
Mesenchymal stem cells started being widely used in aesthetic medicine, particularly for hands, face, and neck rejuvenation, smoothing outline burrs in different parts of body, as well as breast augmentation.
Plastic regenerative surgery deals with the same issues as traditional plastic surgery, however from regenerative point of view, using abilities of the body.
The method
The method of fat inoculating is following: first, liposuction is being implemented on a patient (on those parts of body where unnecessary fat is accumulated), afterwards, a group of cells regenerative cells is being split from the fat, using a special technology (GID, produced in USA): those are so called basic vascular fraction, where also mesenchymal stem cells can be found.
The fat tissue to be inoculated is being enriched with this fraction and is imported through cannulas to those parts of the organism that need recovery.
These cells have an active anti-inflammatory, revascularization, skin elasticity recovery functions, which enables the post-operational outcomes; for instance, they eliminate wrinkles, dark pigments of the skin and visible pores. The whole operation is being implemented without single incision, through smallest holes that later on become practically invisible.
The method is being implemented for several operations:

  • hand and face rejuvenation,
  • recovery of different defects (contour plastic),
  • posttraumatic and post-burn scars plastic
  • healing of chronic wounds (including post-thrombophlebitic and diabetic wounds),
  • breast, backside augmentation,
  • healing of radial wounds (this method is the only known method of healing this type of wounds).
